Black Cat Halloween - Card Club

This card was the one shipped to 30+ people that I send cards to every month. The cat was black paper cut with the My Community Cartridge. I was glued to black felt and then hand cut out to have a fuzzy cat. The yellow eyes are tiny eyelets. The sentiments (this one on the front and the one on the inside reads "Happy Halloween") are printed on orange cardstock and then cut out with scalloped scissors. The inked effect was done with a cotton ball tapped onto a maroon ink pad dragged to edges. Yellow ribbon to embellish. I made these in August actually, so they are not as detailed or as fun as I have been making lately. I am more excited about my Christmas cards that will be going out in December!

Im Bananas About You, Monkey Card for Weaa!

This card is for my sister's new baby niece, her initials backwards spell Weaa. My sister loved the monkey so we had to make a card around it.
We made the bananas by cutting the tips off of the crescent moon shape. To get the details on the monkey (because there is not a layer option with him) we cut two out of different shades of brown and hand cut objects out of the lighter colored one.

Baaaa Sheep Card

An inside joke between my sisters. I saw a sheep similar to this on the cricut mb and ran with some new thoughts.

Thinking of You, Fire Flower

Here is another fire flower card. My sister really likes them. I am going to definitely be playing with some other color combinations later.

Monster Mash

So this cute lil purple monster was inspired by the challenge over on BBTB. The moon reads "When Monsters Mash and Pumpkins Gleam". The inside of the card completes the rhyme with "May Luck Be Yours On Halloween!". The sky is Martha Stewart glitter, the moon was printed with WordArt and circle punched. The monster is solid purple and then shrunk a tiny bit to the patterned purple paper from Paper Doll Dress Up. The fence is also from Paper Doll Dress Up. The pumpkins are on Gypsy Wanderings and the vine work is from Home Accents.

Bun in the Oven

Another Baby Congrats Card! This one was requested by my sister for the bun in the oven theme. The oven opens and closes with magnets to show an actual "bun" in the oven. The knobs are black eyelets.

Dont Drink the Water

So not only is that the title of a favorite Dave Matthews Band song but also my new motto. I made yet another baby card. Yeesh... all of my friends are having babies lately.

Get Well Fire Flower

Alright, so I am not a flowery type of girl, but I thought for a challenge I would give it a try. At least it looks like fire!

Sigma Kappa Girl

A card for the next alumnae meeting and also a challenge card. We will be signing and sending to our new baby dovies!

To the Batcave

This card was made for challenge on the Cricut message boards. It is for my parents moving into their new house next week, was supposed to be in August but there was a "little" bat problem that took a while to sort out.

Spider Bite Me Thank You Card

A thank you card to my mom for taking care of me during what we thought was a ridiculous allergic reaction to a spider bite.

Another take on the Spider Bite Thank You Card. I switched the color around and made the spider head with beads and the eyes under a clear plastic piece.

Marissa's Baby Shower Congratulations Banner

A friend at work is having a baby shower and her nursey theme is of giraffes and colorful stitched circles. She does not know what she is having and wants to be surprised, so the colors are gender neutral. This "Congratulations" Banner is just a tiny little decoration, more will follow!!! The giraffes are only 3 inches tall and two inches wide.

Updated 10-9-09: I am taking this today to give to her... so of course I had to make a quick cute lil paper bag to put it in. And with a matching M monogram!

Happy Holidays - Cards for Soldiers

This card was a mass produced Holiday card with a completely blank inside. The image on the bottom, without the flash, shows the shadow created with the raised "Happy Holidays" sentiment.
These cards were sent to soldiers serving overseas so that they may use them to send to their family and friends back home. More information on the Cards for Soldiers group can be found by clicking HERE.

September Fall Leaves Card - Card Club

This card was the first card that I mass produced and sent to a long list of family friends. My goal is to do this once a month. I already have October's Halloween completed, November's Thanksgiving template set up, and the ideas for December's Holiday card running through my mind.

Fall Festival Pumpkin Contest Banner

This banner was 8 feet by 2 feet, using different shades of oranges and greens to mimic a pumpkin patch.

Karli's Trifold Birthday Card

These pictures are from different angles of the same card.
The bottom picture is the card laying flat before the score lines were creased.
